The menu planner of FOODCO6 software allows you to record how much product was really prepared in the kitchen for each event. Though you can rely on FOODCO's historical data to help with forecasting and ordering many times our employees involved in the actual food preparation are need to react instantly to customer demand, or alter our original plan, due to out of stocks or other unplanned emergencies. The actual prepared screen allows changes to the quanity of items prepped, portion amounts or substituitions. It is what really happened today in the production deparment.

This historical data allows you to make adjustments the next time this meal is served as well as track left over and actual attendance. The last hot dog to the last person in line is probably an unrealistic goal . . . but knowledge is power and money in the food service industry and the closer you come to accomplishing this goal means fewer leftovers, minimal recylcled product and more money to the bottom line. The ability to track by date or by event historically and copy the meal, day or the entire cycle saves both time and money while getting you ever closer to serving that last hot dog--to the last person in line.
